Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026

Groundsignal is a product of OneThingSimpler (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or sign up for a Groundsignal list, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a form we collect your name, company, email address and phone number.

Your consent choices. We keep a record of the consent you gave, including the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser type. We keep this so we can show that we only contact you as you agreed.

Campaign information. If you reached us through an ad or link, we record the campaign it came from (for example, UTM tags in the web address).

Website basics. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when you visit.

Calls and emails. If you agree to calls, we may record and transcribe calls and keep notes of what was discussed. We may also see whether our emails were delivered and opened.

How we use your information

AI-assisted and automated calls

If you agree to calls, we may contact you using an AI voice assistant, an artificial or pre-recorded voice, or automated dialing technology. The assistant will say that it is calling for Groundsignal. Agreeing to calls is never a condition of buying anything from us.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by any reasonable means, including saying “stop calling” during a call or replying to any email from us. We will add your number to our do-not-call list and honor your request within 10 business days, usually much sooner.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number or consent with third parties for their own marketing.

We share information only with service providers that help us run Groundsignal, such as our CRM and workflow tools, email delivery, and calling and transcription providers. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details for as long as you are a prospect or customer, or until you ask us to delete them. We keep call recordings and transcripts for up to 12 months. We keep records of consent and opt-outs for at least five years, even after you opt out, so we can honor your choice and show that we did.

Your choices

Public permit data

The Groundsignal service itself is built from public government records, such as construction stormwater filings. Those records can include the names and contact details that companies listed on their filings. If you appear in a filing and want us to remove your personal contact details from Groundsignal, contact us and we will remove them.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including access controls on the tools we use. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Groundsignal is a business service. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top when we do, and if a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
